Included
- Safety and operational tune-up, annually
- Applicable cleaning: blower, burners, coils and condensate drains
- One to two standard-sized filters, depending on your equipment
- Free electronic leak check if refrigerant is found to be low
- All repairs of parts inside the equipment cabinet, the thermostat and the condensate pump
Humidifier add-on — $50/year
Adds one annual humidifier service — tray and drain-line cleaning plus a new water panel. Covered repairs include the solenoid and saddle valves; the motor is not included.
Not Included
For these, replacing the equipment is the better value than repairing it — we'll tell you straight when that's the case.
- Replacement of an air conditioning compressor or coils
- Replacement of a furnace heat exchanger, even if the part is under warranty
- Sheet metal parts
- Replacement of obsolete or inaccessible parts
- Damage from rodents or animals, water, hail, vandalism, fire, lightning or voltage surge
- Repairs needed while running on a portable generator
- Removal of ice and snow from vents and chimney
- Issues with Wi-Fi thermostats
- Refrigerant charges, and shipping or processing fees on special-order parts
Good to Know
- The program is not available for boilers, mini-splits, oil furnaces or commercial units.
- Emergency calls qualify as no heat, no cool, or extreme water leakage. After-hours calls outside those criteria are charged the $119 trip charge.
- Variable-speed furnaces require a surge protector to be installed before the program starts.
- To keep the program affordable we schedule your maintenance during our slower months, which is what makes year-round repair coverage possible.
